Delivery driver wins Unfair Dismissal case

A delivery driver from Cardiff has been awarded over £3,000 by an employment tribunal for unfair dismissal.

The driver had complained of bullying and derogatory comments from his line manager.  The manager denied the claims.  No complaint had been brought by the driver during his employment with the company.

The tribunal found that the proper procedures for dismissal had not been followed by the company when sacking the driver who in turn was awarded compensation for unfair dismissal.
